Reminder to landlords that there is a requirement for annual registration and licensing for all rental units in the Borough. Official notification for 2025 and registration forms will be mailed out to prior applicants or identified rental owners from November through December with a due date of January 31st for submission with the license fee of $50.00 to the Borough. Late applications are subject to a late application fee of $100. All rental owners must comply with the ordinance, regardless of whether a notification and forms are mailed out to them. A property may not be rented out without obtaining the proper registration and license.
Please keep in mind there are penalties for non-compliance, including criminal charges carrying fines and penalties of up to $1,000 per day and the inability to rent out property.
